Knock Down the House follows the incredible stories of four women who decide to run for office against all odds. At a moment of historic volatility in American politics, these women set themselves on a journey that changed their lives and country forever. A discussion following the screening will be moderated by Karen King, Erie County Commissioner of Public Advocacy, and will feature Juanita Perez Williams, the first Latina candidate to run for mayor of Syracuse.
This is event is possible with collaboration from The Buffalo State Communication Department, Burchfield Penney Art Center and the UB Gender Institute.
